An Inventory management is primarily about specifying the size and placement of stocked goods. Inventory management is required at different locations within a facility or within multiple locations of a supply network to protect the regular and planned course of production against the random disturbance of running out of materials or goods. The scope of inventory management also concerns the fine lines between replenishment lead time, carrying costs of inventory, asset management, inventory forecasting, inventory valuation, inventory visibility, future inventory price forecasting, physical inventory, available physical space for inventory, quality management, replenishment, returns and defective goods and demand forecasting. Balancing these competing requirements leads to optimal inventory levels, which is an on-going process as the business needs shift and react to the wider environment. Inventory management involves a retailer seeking to acquire and maintain a proper merchandise assortment while ordering, shipping, handling, and related costs are kept in check. Systems and processes that identify inventory requirements, set targets, provide replenishment techniques and report actual and projected inventory status. Handles all functions related to the tracking and management of material. This would include the monitoring of material moved into and out of stockroom locations and the reconciling of the inventory balances.

Settings Section

User Management:
The users of the application is managed under this section. Super Admin / Admin should be able to deactivate and block the user. The various sub-section which contains under this section are:

 

User Listing :

  • All the users are listed under this section. Admin can search the user by their first name, last name, email, member id, and their status.
  • Superadmin / Admin can create, Activate, deactivate , edit and delete the users
  • Users can change their password

Inventory Section

 

Stock Listing

  • All the stock items are listed under this section.
  • Users can search, add, edit  and delete the stock items.
  • Users can issue the stock items into the particular departments.
  • Superadmin / Admin can view the edited / deleted items and can be activate it.
  • Superadmin / Admin can view the edited/ deleted items under this section for security log.

 

Goods Issue Listing

  • All the goods issue items are listed under this section.
  • Users can search the goods issue by goods name, by department etc
  • Users can return the issue goods form this section.

 

Goods Returns Listing

  • All the goods returns are listed under this section
  • Users can search by department and items name etc.

Purchase Items Listing

  • All the purchase items are listed under this section.
  • Users can search, add, edit and delete the purchase items
  • superAdmin / admin can view the edited / deleted items under this section for security log

This is category section which categorizes the auction to be displayed in the front end. This contains the following sections:

    • You can Search, add, edit, and delete  the categories

2. Department management:
This is department section which department the section to be display in the front end. This contains the following section:

This is supplier section which suppliers the section to be display in the front end. This contains the following sections:

    • All the suppliers are listed under this section
    • You can search, add , edit and delete the suppliers

 Back up and restore database are listed under this section

Security LogInfo

  • This section display the list of security Log Information’s
  • Security log contains the edited and Deleted information done by users
  • Superadmin / Admin can only view this information


Report Section

    • Users can view stock report
    • Goods Issues’ reports
    • Goods return reports
    • Purchase reports etc.
